We interviewed three agents to see who we would be most comfortable dealing with, and got their appraisals and marketing strategy. Luckily I was not there for the initial meeting with Kate or I may have had a negative perception, as Kate is young!
My wife explained to me how the meeting went and described the marketing strategy that Kate proposed and how she would make it work. (As I said, I had not met Kate.) It was on this feedback I said to my wife that this was the agent for us.
We were very comfortable with the marketing plan and it would work in with our lifestyle. We were willing to work hard to sell and Kate was willing to work harder. Unbeknown to us Kate had started in the industry at a very young age and now, being in her mid 20’s, has over 10 years experience in real estate. She has a wealth of knowledge and understanding you would think was beyond her years.
I am a salesman by profession and I liked her frankness and honesty. Even when the news was not what we wanted to hear, she told it as it was. The Laws changed on how you could market your house mid sale, and a new plan had to be organised.
I / we had other ideas and Kate said that was not the best way and explained why. We put our faith in her and knowledge and experience and followed the new plan. In the end it was hard work and team work that sold our house. Kate and the team kept enough people coming through our house to battle the “Open House Blues” Obviously as we have sold our house we are very happy, though this is not the only reason we highly recommend Kate and her team as a professional sales force. It was her good nature, happiness, understanding and empathy as well!
